Russia denies any nuclear cooperation with Syria

The Russian deputy foreign minister Alexander Sultanov has refuted the claims said on an cooperation between Russia and Syria in the field of nuclear researches.
In a statement he made on Thursday commenting on what was stated by certain circles to this effect, Sultanov said that Moscow and Damascus are not cooperating in the area of nuclear research which would violate agreements relating to the banning of nuclear weapons ( NPT ) agreement.
