Palestine-USA, Politics, 10/17/2002
An official American source, taking part in the American delegation for Bush's talks with Sharon said that the US President George Bush will not make any pressures on Israel concerning what the latter ( Israel ) considers as appropriate for its security concerning the struggle between it and the Palestinians.
The Israeli Hebrew language radio quoted the said source whose name was not stated openly, saying that President Bush will recommend the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon to show what he called greater amount of self- control in case an American attack is made against Iraq.
The radio indicated that the US President will also hold talks with Sharon over the stages of implementing his special vision to solve the Palestinian question and to reach a solution between Israel and the Palestinians, besides supporting what the Israeli radio called the Israeli measures in fighting the Palestinians.
