Ruler of Qatar confers with AL chief

The Ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani on Monday in Doha discussed with the secretary general of the Arab league AL the developments of conditions in the region.
Sources at the Arab League said that Amr Moussa will hold talks in Qatar on the explosive situation in light of the increased possibilities of a military attack against Iraq and the deterioration of conditions in the Palestinian territories.
Worthy mentioning that Qatar which is currently presiding over the rotating presidency of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) had earlier announced it will take into account an American request to use the military al-Aided airforce base where 2000 American troopers are positioned.
