Russia spares no efforts to prevent a military operation against Iraq

The chairman of the Russian Duma council Sergy Meronov has stressed that Russia spares no effort to prevent the implementation of a military operation against Iraq.
Following his talks on Monday with the deputy chairman of the Kuwaiti Shoura council, Mashari Jasem al-Anjari, Mirnov said that Russia is unwavering in its position which calls for the return back of UN inspectors to Iraq.
He added that talks also dealt with the situation in the world oil market, where Russia, and Kuwait should cooperate closely with OPEC in order to define acceptable prices at this market.
For his part, the chairman of the Kuwaiti delegation announced that his country considers Russia a friendly state, noting that fruitful relations are existed between the two countries.
