A new raid on al- Basra airport

The Iraqi TV has quoted an official spokesman that American jets on Thursday launched one raid against the international port of Basra to the south of Iraq and destroyed a radar system.
A spokesman for the ministry of transport and telecommunications said that Basra international airport was exposed to an attack by the British and American planes for the third successive time and this "resulted in heavy losses in the buildings of services and passengers at the airport."
