Tripartite Sudanese, Ethiopian, Yemeni summit to be held soon

The advisor for the Sudanese President for political affairs Qatbi al-Mahdi announced that a tripartite summit will be held in Sanaa within the few coming days and will include the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Ethiopian prime minister Melel Zenawi.

In a statement following his return back from Addis Ababa on Thursday al-Mahdi said that the summit will deal with the Somali issue and issues of mutual concern.

Al-Mahdi, who handed a message from President al-Bashir to Zenawi said that Ethiopia government and people showed sympathy with Sudan while the general secretariat of the African federation decided to dispatch investigations committee on developments in East Sudan especially Eritrea's attacks on the eastern Sudanese borders.
