Israel demolishes 15 houses, breaks to 23 villages, Palestinian operation in Tel Aviv

A young Palestinian on Thursday carried out a new operation in Tel Aviv and the Palestinians destroyed one Israeli Meirkava 3 tank upon the incursion of the Israeli forces on Wednesday evening in Rafah.

Two young Palestinians were shot by the Israeli forces when these forces broke into Yabna camp in the city on Thursday and demolished seven Palestinian houses.

The Israeli forces also demolished other 8 Palestinian houses in Hebron, the West Bank bringing the total number of the Palestinian houses demolished by the Israeli forces on Thursday to 15.

Israeli military sources said the Israeli forces arrested on Wednesday evening and Thursday at dawn more than 71 Palestinians in breaking in operations in the West Bank which targeted more than 23 villages in the surrounding of Ramullah city.

One Israeli woman settler was killed and more than 20 Israelis wounded most of them soldiers and four are in critical conditions in an operation carried out by one Palestinians on Thursday when he detonated himself in a bus station near Bani Barak settlement in Tel Aviv. The executor of the operation was killed.

The Israeli police said that the executor of the operation was not able to step up into the bus at the station which was situated under the main bridges near Yar Eilan university, but he detonated the explosive belt he was wearing when the Israeli soldiers approached him.

To this effect, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon made several contacts and consultation with heads of security departments because of the operation.

The Israeli radio said that the mini Israeli Cabinet for political and security affairs held a meeting on Thursday chaired by Sharon in which it discussed latest developments and the Israeli measures following the operation.

An Israeli military source said that the Israeli forces are in a state of alert and the Israeli police are intensively deployed in all Israeli cities as a preventive measures of more Palestinian operations against Israel.

Meantime, a huge explosive was found on Thursday near Prophet Elias village in Hebron, the West Bank.

Palestinian security sources and eye- witnesses said that Israeli tanks backed by helicopters broke into Rafah camp to the south of Gaza.

The witnesses said that more than 20 tanks backed by three helicopters entered the camp which is situated on the outskirts of the city of Rafah at the border with Egypt.

Two Palestinians were shot by the Israeli soldiers during the breaking in operation.

Palestinian medical sources said that a 12 year old Palestinian died after he was hit by one bullet fired by an Israeli tank upon incurring into the camp while a second Palestinian was killed in Rafah.
