Mubarak opens international coastal highway

Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak opened on Wednesday the international highway on EgyptÕs northern coast which extends from Port Said to Alexandria and links Egypt with a number of Arab states.
ÊÊÊ The 1050-kilometer-long road which goes through eight governorates to shorten distances and save energy had been constructed over three stages.
