Al-Ein Al-Sokhna port to be operated Mid October

Egypt's Al-Ein Al-Sokhna port will be operated during the second of October.
It will be the first private sector port, set up and managed by BOT (build operate transfer) system according to the most developed technology used in world ports.

ÊÊÊ Prime Minister Atef Ebeid will inaugurate the port that will be operated by Al-Sokhna port Development Company the first private sector company that attain the concession of building and operating an Egyptian port.

ÊÊÊ The company is a holding one whose capital is one billion Egyptian pounds. The company's board chairman Osama Al-Sherif said that the port is built with a high technology to compete with other neighboring ports in Red Sea and Gulf.

ÊÊÊ He added that works at the port will be carried out electronically through a computer network and developed Of communications that will save time and efforts of investors.

ÊÊÊ He noted that this would encourage trade and attract large number of foreign investors.

ÊÊÊ Moreover, the port will be linked to foreign ports and national information networks. He added that the port will achieve self-sufficiency and serves the industrial and neighboring zones.

ÊÊÊ The volume of the company's investment in the port in the infrastructure exceeded LE 350 million during the project's first stage.
