Abu Zeid to open conference on Arab water

Egypt's Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mahmoud Abu Zeid will open on Saturday the first regional conference on Arab water..

ΚΚΚ Up to 200 Arab and European experts and scientists working in the water domain are to take part in the conference.

ΚΚΚ Abu Zeid said the three-day conference aims at laying down a general policy for developing water resources in the Arab nation and a future vision for the rules of Arab cooperation in the water domain.

ΚΚΚ Head of the water research institute Mona al-Qadi will preside over the conference sessions.

ΚΚΚ She added that the conference will focus on five axes on policies to develop water resources, water researches to achieve national development, water treatment economies, setting up a future vision on basis of Arab cooperation and water policy to protect Arab water resources.
