Israel renewed aggressions, Sharon threatens more massacres

The Israeli carnage in Khan Younis which claimed the lives of 15 Palestinians while other 150 were wounded, was followed by further aggressions against the Palestinians in Gaza resulted in more wounded and detained Palestinians.

Meantime, one Israeli settler was killed and other five wounded in an attack by the Palestinian resistance. The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon stressed that his military operations will continue in Gaza, describing Khan Younis carnage as a successful operation.

Seven young Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli bullets during the confrontation which took place in Gaza where the Israeli army wounded three Palestinians.

The sources said that the confrontation centered at Ezya entrance -- Beit Hanoun to the north of Gaza. Six Palestinians were wounded in Jenin including two school boys and one girl student by the Israeli forces which broke into the area and carried out a campaign of detention.

Meantime, an Israeli military court in Jerusalem extended the detention period for Naser Abu Hameed, member of the Palestinian legislative council under the charge of resisting the occupation.

On the other hand, One Israeli settler was killed and other five wounded near Hebron where the Palestinians opened fire at their cars. In a meeting he had held with the higher official for the foreign policy at the European Union Javier Solana, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon said that Khan Younis's operation was necessary.
