Clashes renewed between the Palestinian police, Hamas in Gaza

Confrontation were renewed on Tuesday between the Palestinian police men and members of the Hamas movement in Gaza, despite the call made by the PLO to forbid internal fighting.
On Monday, confrontation took place between Hamas and the Palestinian police during which four persons were killed. The confrontation erupted following the killing of a colonel in the Palestinian police at the hands of members from Hamas and when several members from during a funeral held for two Hamas members who were killed on Monday in Gaza threw stones at the complex of the Palestinian security in Gaza, and one of the demonstrators threw a locally made bomb at the same complex but did not result in casualties.
An eyewitness said that the "demonstrators also destroyed a car for traffic police in the area."
A truce was reached between the two sides on Tuesday stated that Hamas members should stop demonstration and the policemen to leave the quarters of Gaza which they had entered following the acts of riots.
The official in the Palestinian police Mahmoud Asfour said that the police is searching for 10 to 15 suspects who live in al-Nseirat camp and called for their surrender.
