Large German economic delegation arrived in Damascus

Prime minister of the Germany's lower state of Saxonia, Sigman Gabriel, and members of an accompanying delegation arrived in Damascus on Monday in a visit to Syria.
He was welcomed at the Damascus International airport by the minister of economy and foreign trade, high ranking economy ministry officials and the German ambassador in Damascus.
Gabriel expressed to SANA his happiness to visit Syria for the second time in order to strengthen and develop relations between Syria and Germany in all fields especially in the economic fields.
He indicated that he is accompanied by a delegation representing businessmen in Saxonia which is considered the second important district in Germany.
