White House announces launching of free trade accord negotiations with Morocco

The White House announced the launching of negotiations for the conclusion of a free trade accord (FTA) with Morocco. The announcement came in a memorandum, published by the White House on Thursday, whereby President George W. Bush authorizes US Trade Representative, Robert Zoelick to inform the congress of the Federal government's intention to start commercial negotiations with Morocco for the creation of a bilateral free trade area.
