Al-Rai al-Aam: Iran commends relations with Kuwait

The Iranian defense minister Admiral Ali Shamakhani has stressed his country's care to commit to the policy of eliminating tension and build its relations with the countries of the world on the ground of reciprocated interests.

In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Aam issued on Friday Shamakhani commended the cooperation relations between his country and Kuwait. He indicated that this cooperation is a guarantee for security and stability in the region.

Shamakhani ruled out a likely US attack against Iran, noting that Washington benefited from previous experiences. He said that a US attack against Iran is a very weak possibility, and that the Iranian deterrent force is ready to withstand foreign threats.
