Facilitating entry visa for Sudanese to Egypt

The Egyptian consulate in Khartoum announced providing facilities to the Sudanese citizens who desire to visit Egypt. These facilities include reduction the period for getting the visa from ten days to one week. This is in implementation of what had been reached during the meetings of the joint higher committee recently held between the two countries.

The consulate explained the cases of "sickness" will be granted visas within one day and the request in this case to be enclosed with an authentic medical report.

Sudanese businessmen will be granted also entry visas within one day. All visas for the Sudanese will be granted at no cost. Egypt had previously said that it wants to remove the visa requirements for Sudanese entering Egypt.
