Israel continues oppression operations against the Palestinians

The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday continued their aggressions against the Palestinians and broke into al- Shuja'ya quarters in Gaza and (the grocery market) in Jenin and Kafer al-Libd village in Toulkarem and resulted in killing one Palestinian, wounding other three and arresting more tan 40 in various parts of the West Bank and Gaza.

Meantime, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned against the rapid collapse of the health and nutrition situation in the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of the continued Israeli besiege and aggression.

The Israeli infrastructure minister called for intensifying settlement in the west bank and Gaza, considering that the expansion of the standing settlements is illegal and not justified.

The Israeli forces also launched a large scale detention acts against the Palestinian workers who work in the territories of 1948 that included the detention of 1600 workers, 30 of them are workers in Gaza and the others in the West Bank.

The Israeli radio said that the detention campaign covered the Galilee area, al-Muthalath, Wadi Ara, the outskirts of Jerusalem.

The radio added that the Israeli police centers interrogated during the few past days some 11,000 Palestinians working in Israel.

The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon prevented the arrival of the Palestinian workers to their work sites especially inside the territories of 1948.

The Israeli radio said that Sharon asked during a meeting he held on Wednesday evening, in the presence of the minister of the interior, and the general inspector of the Israeli police, from all Israeli farmers and businessmen to stop recruiting Palestinian workers.

The Israeli tanks broke into the Palestinian territories in Gaza and arrested several Palestinian citizens.

Meantime, the Palestinian resistance fighters fired two mortars at one of the Israeli military sites in Ghoushe Kative settlement in Gaza, and they opened fire at the industrial area of Shahek near Shakit settlement which is situated in Jenin in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ahmad Steiti ( 45 year old) was killed after he was hit in the head by the Israeli forces which broke into the (grocery market) in Jenin.

Palestinian security sources said that other three Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli bullets and the Israeli forces imposed curfew immediately on the city and started mopping up and inspection operations.

The sources added that the Israeli forces incurred in Wadi Gaza village to the south of Gaza backed by ten tanks and two bulldozers and destroyed one house and inspected several Palestinian houses.
