Abu Mazin: I did not meet with the chairman of the Israeli Mossad

The secretary general of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Mahmoud Abbas ( Abu Mazin), denied on Wednesday news which talked about his meeting with the chairman of the Israeli Mossad Afream Halivi several weeks ago in a Gulf state, considering that this is an Israeli provocative campaign targeting him personally. Abbas, who is currently visiting Moscow said in an official statement circulated by the Palestinian press center in Ramullah that such news are categorically false.
The Palestinian official added "I did not meet with Halivi nor with any other Israeli official. Even if I would have met with any of them, I would have announced that frankly."
