Mauritania's president meets U.N. envoy for Sahara

President Mouaouya Ould Sid Ahmed Taya of Mauritania met in Nouakchott on Monday William Lacy Swing, special representative of the United Nation Secretary General for the Sahara. "I had an exchange of view with the Mauritanian President, Sing told the press after the meeting, adding "I expressed my intention to the President and to the parties concerned in the Western Sahara issue that I will pay them regular visits to exchange views on the issue."
