Saudi Arabia summons its ambassador in Qatar

The Saudi official news agency on Sunday evening decided to summon its ambassador in Qatar in order to make consultations, but the decision was taken before providing more details on the decision.
However, this step which might be linked to the silent difference between the two states stemming from a TV program about the Saudi royal family on June 25, during which the participants in the program denounced the initiative of the Saudi crown prince for peace between the Arabs and Israel.
In the TV program, the participants also criticized the founder of the Saudi kingdom and accused Riyadh of "Betraying the Palestinian issues."
