Bahrain to host UN inspector for Iraq

The Bahraini foreign ministry secretary Youssef Mahmoud said that Bahrain is currently is studying a request from the UN to permit the UN inspection committee to take Bahrain as a base for its operations after the UN consent on the return back of the UN inspectors.
Mahmoid said that Bahrain had received a request from the UN on permitting the UN committee for inspecting on the Iraqi weapons to use Bahrain as a base for its operations and current negotiations are underway in this regard between Bahrain and the UN organization.
