Iraq rejects US additional conditions to UN weapons inspection

Iraq announced Saturday it will not accept the new conditions the US wants to impose on the UN for inspecting weapons.

In a press statement in Baghdad, the Iraqi vice president said that the position concerning the inspectors has been set, and that any additional measures aiming at damaging Iraq will not be accepted.

Under the threat to use force,Washington in a draft bill to be circulated on the UN Security Council members, urges for making amendments on to the guidelines concerning the UN inspectors, asking for permitting them to enter into any Iraqi position and protect them by a security force.
