US Congressmen in Iraq

Three US Democrats arrived in Baghdad on Friday to make assessment on the results of any American attack on Iraq.
Congressmen David Bonior of Michigan, Mike Thompson for California, and Jim McDermott of Washington expressed upon their arrival in Baghdad their hope they can assess the impact of a new war against the Iraqi citizens and shedding light on the implications on any attack against Iraq and on the US national security.
This is the second visit by American congressmen who oppose any American military attack against Iraq. In the mid of this month September, congressmen for Virginia Nick Rahall visited Baghdad.
