King Abdullah to visit Kuwait on Monday

An official source in the Jordanian Royal court said on Thursday that the Jordanian King Abdullah II will be visiting Kuwait on Monday in order to hold talks with the Amir of Kuwait dealing with latest developments in the region and means of supporting bilateral relations.
The visit which was due last Monday was postponed for organizational reasons pertinent to the timing of the two sides' engagements, according to the same source. The visit of the Jordanian King to Kuwait is his fourth for this country since he assumed power in Jordan in February 1999 in succession of his late King Hussein.
By the beginning of this week, the Kuwaiti government opened a press center in Amman in a latest remark on the notable progress in the relations between the two states since the second half of the past decade.
