Al-Assad, Mubarak telephone conversation

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak discussed on Thursday evening in a telephone call with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad "recent developments of the conditions in the Middle East," the Middle East News Agency MENA reported. The source explained that the two presidents also discussed "the current international contacts" with the aim of eliminating the current crisis in the Palestinian territories. The two presidents also discussed "results of the talks held on ( Wednesday) between Mubarak and the Saudi crown prince."
