Entry visas canceled between Sudan, Libya
Sudan-Libya, Politics, 9/26/2002
The Sudanese TV has stated that cancellation of entry visa has been decided between Libya and Sudan as from mid November of this year in implementation of the integration protocol between the two states.
The TV quoted Mahdi Babo Nimer, the secretary general of the Sudanese- Libyan integration, saying that visas will be replaced by "integration cards" and that specialized sides are taking necessary measures to this effect.
The "integration project" started between the two states under the rule of the former Sudanese President Jafaar al-Numeiri but was suspended because of the deterioration of relations between the two stats then, until it was revived by the current government.
