Haj Nour was killed in Southern Sudan

One of the remarkable Islamic leaders in Southern Sudan, Ahmad Mahjoub Haj Nour, who is also one of the judges whose name was linked to the phase of implementing the Islamic Sharia in 1983 under the rule of the former Sudanese President Jafaar al-Numeiri, was killed on Wednesday.
The Sudanese presidency and people's defense leadership eulogized the deceased in the TV news bulletin on Wednesday evening. The statement read on that occasion did not give details on the place where he was killed and the circumstances relating to that.
