Mubarak gets a message from Saddam

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak on Tuesday received a message from the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein conveyed by the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri during his meeting with Mubarak yesterday morning. Following the meeting, Sabri said the message pertains to the American threats against Iraq and the difficult conditions the Middle East region is passing as well as means of strengthening relations between Egypt and Iraq, and revitalizing their bilateral cooperation.

However, the visit of the Iraqi minister to Cairo falls in the course of a tour he is making on several Arab states with the aim of making consultation concerning the American threats against Iraq.
