Czech president and attacking Iraq
Iraq-Czech Republic, Politics, 9/24/2002
The Czech President Vaclav Havel has ruled out achieving any benefit from a "separate and single" American military attack against Iraq. In a statement to the Czech "Malada Fronta" issued on Monday, Havel said that the military action against Iraq should be through what he described a vast international alliance.
The Czech President also did not rule out the possibility of sending Czech units especially to take part in the likely military operation.
