Saudi minister: Why punish Iraq when Israel is the outlaw
Saudi Arabia-Iraq, Politics, 9/24/2002

Saudi Arabia's minister of the interior prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz has renewed his country's position which rejects striking Iraq. He criticized the double standard policy pursued by the UN and certain major states.

In statements on Monday, the Saudi minister said that the position of Saudi Arabia is not to agree nor support attacking Iraq, noting that there are means to find solutions.

The Saudi minister denounced the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people. He said that everyone knows what Israel is doing against the Palestinian people and no one punishes Israel which undermines the UN security council resolutions and the Madrid conference decisions.

He stressed that the Arab and Islamic nations will continue to defend Palestine.
