Al-Anwar: Positive Turkish message to Syria

Turkey has addressed a positive message to Syria through a decision taken by the military Shoura council which is convenes once a year and reprioritized dangers facing Turkey.
A report issued on Sunday by the Lebanese daily al-Anwar said that "August witnessed the recession of the position of both Syria and Jordan in the listed dangers, which considered Iraq as a likely danger, and described Syria as not being an enemy to Turkey."
The report said that Israel views with unrest and concern a Syrian- Turkish rapprochement and considers that as a threat for its relations with the government of Ankara.
