King Mohammedmed receives marrakesh film festival jury, hosts dinner in honor of participants

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, who was accompanied by his younger brother Prince Moulay Rachid and princesses, received Thursday evening, at the Royal Palace of Marrakesh, members of the jury of the Marrakesh International Film Festival, currently held in Marrakesh, and several directors, actors, thinkers and artists.
The sovereign decorated head of the feature film jury, French actress Jeanne Moreau, with the Alaouite Wissam of intellectual merit.
The king also received US filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, who was accompanied by his spouse, the festival president, Daniel Toscan du Plantier, the vice-president of the festival foundation, Andre Azoulay, the members of the foundation managing board and several other participants in the second Marrakesh International Film festival.
King Mohammed VI later on hosted a dinner banquet in honor of the participants to the festival, in the presence of Prime Minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, members of the Moroccan cabinet, advisers to the king and several Moroccan and foreign personalities from the world of culture, arts, media, and economy.
