Israel kills four Palestinians, destroys government premises, economic firms

The Palestinian army officer Muhammad Ismael Hamouda was shot to death on Friday as the Israeli army soldiers opened fire at him inside the headquarters of the Palestinian Authority.
News reports said that one Israeli sniper opened fire at Hamoudah while he was in the room where Arafat receives his visitors.
Meantime, the Palestinian Ahmad labad ( 35 year old) and the Palestinian woman Sameera al-Dahdar ( 25 year old) were killed during Israeli helicopter bombardment of the houses of al-Tuffah district in Gaza.
The Palestinian youth Abdullah al-Gharabli was shot and other ten Palestinian youngsters were wounded after the Israeli forces opened fire at them in Rafah.
For its part, a security source said the Israeli forces opened fire intensively and randomly at the houses of Palestinians and that the Israeli forces destroyed by explosives four smith workshops in al-Daraj quarters to the north of Gaza owned by the Palestinian families of al- Nakhalla, al-Shawwa and Abu Jahal.
The Israeli forces destroyed a three- floor building by bombs which also resulted in cracks in adjoining houses, while the Israeli bulldozers destroyed the headquarters of the Palestinian Interior Security and destroyed the wall linking the Palestinian Authority presidency in Ramullah and the city's municipality. The Israeli bulldozers also destroyed the building of the Palestinian military intelligence.
Meantime, the Israeli forces launched a campaign of arrest and breaking-in in al-Khalil, Ramullah, and Nablus targeted scores of Palestinians and destroyed the industrial workshops in Deir al- Balah.
Meantime, Palestinian Intifada youth detonated an explosive in an Israeli tank near Rafah and this resulted in wounding one Israeli soldier and one army officer, according to the Israeli radio which added that another explosive went off in an Israeli unit which came to evacuate the wounded people and confrontation took place between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli forces.
The Palestinian youths fired three mortars at Natsareim settlement near Gaza while the number of Israelis killed in the Palestinian operation carried out on Thursday in Tel Aviv reached 6.
Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon asked the Palestinian authority to hand over the director of the Palestinian intelligence in the West Bank, Tawfiq al-Tirawi, to try him under the pretext of resisting the occupation, claiming that the Israeli authorities have documents showing that al-Tirawi planned to carry out operations against Israeli targets, while the Israeli defense minister Benyamin Ben Eliezer said that Israel does not want to expel nor to damage Arafat, but just to isolate him."
