Annan, Moussa, Sabri formulated the Iraqi acceptance of UN inspectors

A diplomat at the UN disclosed that the negotiations of secretary general of the UN Kofi Annan with the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri led to formulating the message in which Iraq had announced its unconditional consent for the return back of UN inspectors to Baghdad.
The high ranking diplomat who asked to be anonymous said that Annan and Sabri were on Monday in the same office in the 38th floor of the UN headquarters and made telephone calls with Baghdad. Also with them was the secretary general of the Arab League chief Amr Moussa who played a decisive role in the pressures made on Iraq.
