Al-Assad discusses with Chile's delegation regional and international conditions

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday in Damascus received the chairman of the Socialist party in the Republic of Chile Camilo Ascalona and members of the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by the assistant secretary general of the Baath party in Syria Abdullah al-Ahmar.
Discussions dealt with regional and international issues and the importance of that the UN should take its due role in sponsoring world peace.
Discussions also dealt with the programs on developing economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries and work to revitalize relations between the two parties and countries and strengthening them for mutual benefits.
