Sultan of Brunei final round of talks with al-Assad

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad and Sultan Hassan al-Balqia of Brunei Dar al-Salaam held a final session of talks on Wednesday in Damascus during which they completed their talks which dealt with bilateral relations and means of strengthening them on solid ground in various fields.

The two leaders also reviewed regional and international conditions and latest developments. Sultan Hassan al-Balqia left Damascus on Wednesday afternoon in conclusion of a visit to Syria.

President al-Assad saw off Sultan Balqia at the airport together with the chairman of the honorary mission which accompanied the Sultan during his visit to Syria, the Syrian minister of health Muhammad Eyad al-Shatti., the minister of al-Awqaf Muhammad Zeyadah and the minister of the Interior lt. Gen. Ali Hammoud..

On Wednesday morning, accompanied by al-Shatti, Sultan of Brunei visited one of the Syrian armed formations and he witnessed the implementation of a tactical exercise by live ammunition.
