Qatari FM reiterates rejection striking Iraq

The Qatari foreign minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem Bin Jaber al-Thani has stressed that his country is against any American military act against Iraq.
In a statement to the London- based al- Hayat daily issued on Tuesday, the Qatari foreign minister said "it is of great interest for us to avoid the region any military act especially as the region is passing a critical condition not only concerning Iraq, but also concerning the question of September 11, warning that "numerous things are and will take place in the region.
The Qatari foreign minister indicated that there is an Arab care not to carry out a military action in the region and called on the Arab states, stressing the need of a sincere Arab strategy.
