Rahall asks Iraq to permit return of UN inspectors
Iraq-USA, Politics, 9/17/2002

US Congressman Nick Rahall, currently visiting Baghdad announced in press telephone statements on Monday that he had asked Baghdad to approve the return back of UN inspectors and abidance by all UN resolutions without a delay.

Rahall, the democratic Congressman from West Virginia, said before the Iraqi National Congress on Sunday that the possibility of avoiding the war and ensuring peace lies in permitting the UN inspectors to return back to Baghdad.

In his press telephone statements from Baghdad, Rahall explained that his delegation which carries out a humanitarian mission does not want a new war in Iraq.
