Grand Prix Final: Morocco's Hicham El Gurrouj wins 1.500m

Morocco's Hicham El Guerrouj won the 1.500m race at the final of the IAAF Grand Prix Saturday at Charl?ty stadium in Paris. El Guerrouj covered the distance in 3:29.27. He was followed by Kenyans Bernrad Lagat (3:30.54) and Cornelius Tchirchir (3:31.51).
With this victory, the 1500 world champ and world record holder secures his share in the jackpot of the Golden League, along with American Marion Jones (100m), Dominican F?lix Sanchez (400m hurdles) and Mexican Ana Guevara (400m).
