Khatami to meet with Saudi crown prince today in Jeddah

The Iranian President Muhammad Khatami has continued his visit to Saudi Arabia and moved to Jeddah where he will be meeting today with the Saudi crime prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
The Saudi news agency said that the minister of the interior Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz received the Iranian president at Jeddah airport, which he had arrived coming from al-Madina al-Munawrra where he had performed al-Omra rituals.
However, a Saudi official source said that the talks which Khatami will hold with the Saudi crown prince will deal with the situation in the Gulf region in light of the American threats to strike Iraq and cooperation between Tehran and Riyadh.
