Sudan: Three persons killed in military plane collision with a truck

A Sudanese military official said on Thursday that three persons were killed on Wednesday when a military plane collided with a small truck near Rabek, which is 275 Km to the south of the capital, Khartoum.

A spokesman for the army said that the military plane which had a technical damage and its pilot was obliged to land on the highway situated between Rabek and Kosty in the Higher White Nile area in the downtown of Sudan, and it collided with a truck and this resulted in killing three persons.

The spokesman who asked to be anonymous stressed that the plane and its crew were not harmed. He added that the plane was in a mission but refused to identify its destination and the sort of a mission it had.
