Iraqi National Council message to US Congress members

The chairman of the Iraqi National Council (parliament) Saadoun Hammadi on Tuesday dispatched messages to seven influential members at the US Senate who reject striking Iraq. The messages were sent to members at the US Senate who called not to hurry in taking military measures against Iraq and for the need to discuss this issue with the US Senate before taking a decision for using the force.

Hammadi coupled his messages by a copy of a message he had sent earlier in August to the leadership of the US Congress in which he invited a US Congress delegation, accompanied by a team of experts in the area of dismantling mass destruction weapons to Iraq in order to make an inspection for three weeks.
