Algeria: A meeting for the African federation on terrorism

Mauritania's minister of the interior al-Murabit Seidi Mahmoud Wild al-Sheikh Ahmad left Nouakchott on Sunday for Algeria where he will be taking part in a meeting for the governments of the African federation on terrorism, expected to be held on September 11 to 14, according to Mauritania's official news agency

During the work session of the meeting, the participants will discuss "the African possibilities" for withstanding terrorism challenges and "the total reply" by the continent to this phenomenon, according to the African federation.

According to the same source, Algeria's meeting which seeks to "show tangibly the commitment of the African continent to fighting terrorism, on that issue.

Algeria's meeting is coincided with the first annual anniversary for the attacks of September 11, 2001 in the USA which resulted in killing 3034, according to an official statistics.
