Kuwait deny military build up on border with Iraq
Kuwait-Iraq, Politics, 9/7/2002
kuwait's Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, has denied any military build up from the Kuwaiti side on the Iraqi borders.
In press statements yesterday, al-Mubarak said that there is no link between Washington's declaration to send military vehicles to Kuwait and the American war against Iraq. He indicated that these American vehicles will take part in routine maneuvers in implementation of the security agreements signed between Kuwait and the USA.
