Palestinian resistance kill two Israeli soldiers, tank destroyed; Barghouthi on trial

As the Israeli forces started the trial of Marwan Barghouthi, the secretary general of the Fatah movement in the West Bank, and one of al- Aqsa group leaders Nasser Ewis, the Palestinian national resistance launched a suicide operation against the Israeli occupation forces that resulted in killing one Israeli army officer, and the wounding of one soldier. One Israeli tanks was destroyed. One soldier was also killed and other three Israelis including one army officer near Kisovim settlement.
The Palestinian resistance launched strong clashes and confrontation with the Israeli forces in Toulkarem and Jenin in the West Bank, in al-Maghazi camp and al-Sudaneyah area and Rafah in Gaza.
Similar confrontations took place to the north of Gaza near Nisanit and Eile Shay settlements that resulted in wounding three Israeli soldiers.
The Palestinian resistance men attacked the Israeli positions by mortars and shells in Rafah and Ghoush Katif settlements in Gaza. Direct hits were achieved.
Meantime, the Israeli forces announced a state of alert in all parts of the occupied Palestinian territories and in the Galilee of fears against the launch of operations on the fall of what is called the Jewish New year today.
The Israeli radio said that thousands of Israeli soldiers will be deployed on the roads and main axes along the border line with the West Bank, and reinforced patrol will be run, and check points will be installed in aggregations which have intensive movements for the Israeli settlers.
The radio said that the commander of the Israeli police in the Galilee area announced that the Israeli army and police discovered two cars carrying more than 600 Kg of explosives and they chases the two cars by helicopters. The drivers of the two cars fled.
Meantime, the Israeli forces intensified acts of detention especially in al-Shwika village and the city of Toulkarem which was exposed to breaking in and storming operations, and five Palestinians were arrested in the said village.
Meantime, Barghouthi defied the decision of the Israeli court on Thursday and announced in loud voice that he is fighting for the sake of freedom and that Israel commits on daily basis crimes against the Palestinians in violation of the international norms and charters.
Barghouthi renewed his rejection to recognize the legality of the Israeli occupation courts or any help from the Israeli lawyer who was appointed by the court to defend him after he persisted to defend himself. He refused to listen to the list of accusation addressed by the occupation authorities against him.
The Israeli authorities will resume Barghouthi's trial after one month from now. Simultaneously, the Israeli authorities started to try Nasser Ewis one of the leader of al-Aqsa martyrs group who was arrested under the charge of resisting the occupation.
