Israel: bomb found near former house for Ehud Barak
Israel-Palestine, Local, 9/5/2002
The Israeli police on Wednesday defused a bomb found in a village in the downtown of Israel near a house that used to be inhabited by the former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak until one year before.
The spokesman for the Israeli police said the bomb was "in a courtyard two houses apart from a house where Barak used to live in, Kokhaf Yanir village." The Israeli spokesman said that the bomb was taken from the area before it was blown off. He accused Palestinian activists of placing it.
