Al-Nour: A law on political parties to be issued in Syria

The Syrian al-Nour, weekly, mouthpiece of the Syrian communist party, said that official sides in the government are preparing to issue a law for the political parties in Syria.

The weekly said that this law which has been awaited for a long is based on organizing and legalizing the political activity through drawing enforced basics for licensing the political parties and practicing their activity, defining the rights and duties of these parties.

The paper described this law, upon its issuance and official release as an advanced step on organizing the political life in Syria, reactivating it and getting citizens involved in that, and in enabling people practicing their political rights on the ground of the constitution and the law, besides being of great effect towards fixing the authority and supremacy of the law.
