Mrs. Mubarak receives UNICEF official

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak received yesterday the Deputy Executive of the (UNICEF), currently visiting Cairo to get acquainted with efforts being exerted to support children and women.

ΚΚΚ The UNICEF official expressed the fund's appreciation to Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak for her relentless efforts and the pivotal role she has been playing in promoting children's issues and upgrading services for them.

ΚΚΚ She also praised Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak for maintaining children's rights and her attempts to eradicate violence and discrimination against them.

ΚΚΚ Meanwhile, the UNICEF and the National Council For Childhood and Mother and open today an expanded meeting to announce a report on conditions of childhood and Motherhood in Egypt 20002.

ΚΚΚ The report comprises achievements in child's rights, programs of caring of early childhood, upgrading education, particularly for girls, and combating drugs addiction amongst youth.

ΚΚΚ On the other hand, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak opens next Saturday the first youth employment summit held at Alexandrina Bibliotheca that will last till Sept. 11. About 150 states represented by 1000 youth, 500 of representative of government and authorities, and 40 ministers of youth and labor.
