Ebeid reviews methods of modernizing administration in public enterprises sector

Egypt's Prime Minister Atef Ebeid yesterday held a meeting at which he reviewed methods to modernize administration in companies and factories of the public sector and joint companies in which public funds make part of their capital and private companies.

Ebeid pointed out that the meeting was held following a series of field visits which the prime minister made during which he toured a number of companies and factories in new cities.

The Prime Minister said the companies he visited were operating successfully because they adopt modern administration methods and young cadres are assuming administrative responsibilities in them.

Minister of the Public Enterprises sector, Moukhtar khattab, said specialized administration companies will be set up and will recruit a number of foreign administrators and seek the experience of Egyptian administration experts at home and abroad.

About 50 public enterprises sector companies and 100 private companies will seek the experience of modern administration companies .
