Al-Rai al-Am: Libya wants projects in South Sudan to off cessation

The Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael has announced that LibyaÕs Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi called on investment sides in his country to establish development projects in southern Sudan to ward off the ghost of cessation between the two parts of Sudan.
In a statement to the Sudanese daily al-Rai al-Am issued on Wednesday, the Sudanese minister said that the message which he had conveyed during his current visit to Tripoli from the Sudanese President to his Libyan counterpart relates to bilateral relations and the process of negotiations between the Sudanese government and the rebellion movement, underway.
The Sudanese minister said that Qathafi's reply message stressed readiness to coordinate with Sudan in order to establish peace.
On the march of bilateral cooperation between the two states, the Sudanese minister said that the meetings of the Sudan- Libya follow up committee approved holding meetings of the higher commission in the mid of October this year. It was also agreed to resume work between the two states on the four privileges "ownership, transport, work and residence."
